Inside the template

The Problem

Student Command Center puts your assignments, exams, courses, notes and schedule in one connected Notion system, then gives you a reason to actually keep going.

I built it to make school feel less like an endless list. Complete your work, study, and stay ahead of deadlines to earn points, build your own rewards, and watch your progress grow.

Why it works

Every small piece, doing something on purpose

Turn work into progress

Assignments, exams and study sessions aren't just tasks to finish, they become opportunities to earn points and progress

Give yourself a reason to keep going

Build a reward shop around things you actually want. Your next gaming session, movie night or treat can become something you work toward.

See the whole game board

Deadlines, exams, classes, notes and study time live together so you can see what is ahead instead of reacting to whatever feels urgent.

Build your own rules

Choose what earns points, how much things are worth and what rewards you unlock. The system adapts to the way you want to play.

How It Works

From semester setup to daily use

  1. 01

    Add your school life

Set up your courses and semester calendar, the foundation everything else connects to.

  2. 02

    Capture your work

Add assignments, exams and notes as they come in.

  3. 03

    Plan your time

Use your schedule and study planner to see what actually needs attention.

  4. 04

    Stay in control

Check the dashboard, keep your grade current and keep moving.

Who it's for

See yourself in this?

Students who want school organization to feel more motivating than a traditional planner.

Students who like games, progression, points, or reward systems.

Students managing multiple classes, assignments, and exams at once.

Students who want their effort to feel visible instead of disappearing after a task is checked off.

The student who wants to feel in control of school while still having something to work toward.

Worth Knowing

Probably not the right fit if you...

Wants a fully automated platform with no manual setup
Doesn't want to use Notion
Needs their school's LMS replaced entirely
Expects automatic teacher or school integrations

Made by Gerald

School already gives you deadlines, grades and tests. I wanted to add something it usually doesn't give you: a sense of progression. Student Command Center turns the work you're already doing into points, rewards, and visible progress, so staying on top of school can feel a little more like playing a game and a little less like grinding through a checklist.

Take control of your school year.

Everything you need. One system. One place.

What makes Cheese different

You only get one life. Build it well.

I don't think your money, school, habits, health, and goals are separate problems. They're all pieces of the same life.

That's why I build Cheese differently. Instead of giving you another app to manage, I make Notion systems that help you organize the things that matter, make progress on them and actually enjoy the process a little more.

Because you only get one life. It deserves a system built around it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Yes, it's a Notion template you duplicate into your own workspace, not a separate app or website.

Testimonials

What customers say

Great aesthetic, but needs formula updates and debugging

Visually, this template is beautifully designed, and the underlying concept for student organization is fantastic. However, setting it up required significant troubleshooting to make it functional. The rewards system was linked directly to the creator's personal database rather than a self-contained internal relation. Because external access is restricted, the connection breaks immediately upon importing, making it very difficult to fix without re-architecting the system.

Creator's Note

This issue has since been fixed. I rebuilt the affected database connections so the system works correctly when duplicated into a new workspace.

Rewards system now fully self-contained

The fix for the imported-rewards issue some early users ran into.

  • Rebuilt the reward database connections so they're internal to the template.
  • The system now works correctly the moment it's duplicated into a new workspace.
