By accessing or using the Cheese website or purchasing, downloading, or using a Cheese product or service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or our Products.
2. Using the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Website's operation.
- Copy, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of the Website or its content without permission.
- Misrepresent your relationship with Cheese.
- Use the Website to distribute malicious software or harmful material.
- Attempt to circumvent security, access restrictions, or other technical protections.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Website if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Digital Products and Product Licenses
Cheese Products are digital Notion templates and systems. Each Product may have its own intended use and sharing permissions, which will be communicated on the Product's page or accompanying documentation.
When you purchase or download a Product, you receive a limited license to use that Product according to its stated intended use and the terms below.
Personal-use Products
Unless a Product expressly permits sharing, a personal-use Product is licensed for use by the individual who purchased or downloaded it.
You may customize the Product for your own use, including changing its structure, appearance, pages, databases, formulas, views, and content.
You may not, without permission from Cheese:
- Resell the Product.
- Upload or redistribute the original Product or its duplicate.
- Publish the Product on another marketplace, template library, or website.
- Give copies of a personal-use Product to other people for their own use.
- Claim the Product or its underlying design as your own.
- Use the Product as the basis for creating and selling a substantially similar competing template.
Shared and Multi-Person Products
Some Cheese Products are specifically designed to be used by multiple people, such as families, couples, households, teams, or other groups.
Where a Product is identified as a shared, family, couples, team, or otherwise multi-person system, you may share and use that Product with the people it is intended for, subject to any limits stated on the Product page or in its documentation.
For example, a shared household system may be used by members of the same household.
Permission to share a Product for its intended use does not mean that the Product may be:
- Resold or sublicensed.
- Uploaded publicly for anyone to copy.
- Distributed through another marketplace or template library.
- Given away as a competing free or paid template.
- Used to create a substantially similar commercial product.
Product-Specific Licenses
If the license or sharing permissions displayed on a specific Product page differ from these general Terms, the Product-specific license controls for that Product.
Cheese may offer different editions or licenses of the same Product, including personal, shared, family, team, commercial, or other versions. You are responsible for using the Product according to the license associated with the edition you obtained.
4. Free Products
Some Cheese Products may be offered free of charge. Free Products are subject to the same license and usage restrictions described in these Terms unless the specific Product states otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or replace free Products at any time.
5. Product Updates
We may occasionally update Products to improve functionality, fix issues, or add features.
An update may include changes to:
- Notion databases
- Formulas
- Views
- Automations
- Layouts
- Instructions
- Documentation
- Other Product features
Unless otherwise stated, purchasing a Product does not guarantee unlimited future updates or support indefinitely. We may decide whether and when to release updates.
6. Custom Notion Services
Cheese may offer custom Notion systems or other custom digital services.
The specific scope, deliverables, pricing, timeline, revisions, and other requirements for a custom project may be agreed upon separately before work begins.
Custom work may require information, materials, feedback, or access provided by you. You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required according to the terms communicated for the specific project. We may decline a custom project at our discretion.
7. Payments and Third-Party Services
Payments for certain Products or Services may be processed by third-party payment providers.
We do not directly store your complete payment-card information.
Your use of a third-party payment service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and policies.
Cheese is not responsible for interruptions, errors, or changes to third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled according to Cheese's applicable Refund Policy.
Because digital Products may be delivered immediately after purchase, eligibility for a refund may differ from that of physical goods.
Where a Product is defective, substantially different from its description, or cannot reasonably be used as represented, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, correction, or refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
9. Intellectual Property
The Website and its contents, including but not limited to Cheese branding, logos, names, graphics, illustrations, Product designs, template structures, written content, blog posts, guides, Wiki content, Website code, photography, and visual assets, are owned by or licensed to Cheese and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except where these Terms or applicable law expressly allow it, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works from Cheese's intellectual property without permission.
Using a Cheese Product does not give you ownership of Cheese's underlying template design, system architecture, documentation, or other intellectual property.
10. Your Content
You may submit information, suggestions, feedback, reviews, requests, or other material to Cheese through the Website or our forms (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you have in your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Cheese permission to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote, or provide our services. For example, we may use feedback to improve a Product.
We will not publicly identify you as the author of private feedback without your permission unless required by law.
Please do not submit confidential information that you do not want us to receive.
11. Reviews and Testimonials
If you submit a review or testimonial, you represent that it reflects your genuine experience.
You grant Cheese permission to display the review on the Website and in Cheese marketing materials, subject to applicable law.
We may remove or decline to publish reviews that are misleading, abusive, unlawful, irrelevant, or otherwise inappropriate.
12. Third-Party Platforms and Links
Cheese Products may rely on third-party platforms, including Notion and other services. The functionality of a Product may therefore depend on those third-party platforms.
Cheese does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee that their services, features, pricing, availability, or policies will remain unchanged.
The Website may also contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience and do not mean that Cheese endorses or controls those websites.
13. Notion
Cheese Products are designed for use with Notion.
Notion is a separate company and platform. Cheese is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Notion unless expressly stated otherwise.
Your use of Notion is subject to Notion's own terms and policies.
Cheese cannot guarantee that every Product feature will continue to function if Notion changes its platform, functionality, limits, APIs, formulas, automations, or other features.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website or our Products at any time.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Cheese's liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Website or Products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
20. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, Products, or Services if you materially violate these Terms or misuse our intellectual property.
If your license to a Product is terminated because of a violation of these Terms, you must stop using and distributing that Product.
